MCC started by Founder Fred Estopinal
1966
Vision of Founder expressed to MCC:
"I don't mean to say that our goal is to be the biggest company; I'd rather say that we want to be the best. We would like to be the best here in the city (New Orleans), maybe the state (Louisiana), maybe the whole South..."
1982
Joseph Jaeger, Jr. takes over reigns as President of MCC.
1980-1984
New Orleans, Poydras Street explodes with construction of high-rise office buildings as well as a multitude of hospitality and health care projects as well as the Louisiana World's Fair developed by MCC thru Design-Build/Design-Assist fast-track delivery process. Several regional general contractors request MCC services requiring travel.
1984
Joseph Jaeger, Jr.'s vision to offer our customers the same quality services regionally begins through MCC Mechanical (formerly DCM Enterprises), formed as a regional traveling mechanical company.
1985
MCC Electric is started as Design Build/Assist electrical contractor to complement mechanical services and to offer customers complete MEP solutions.
1987
Sheetmetal capability is added and Metal Construction is begun, offering capacity needed in the New Orleans mechanical market as well as additional capacity throughout the southeast.
2008
MCC celebrates 50 years in business represented by:
- Corporate office with 100 plus employees
- Approximately 750 total employees
- Revenues nearing a quarter of a billion dollars
- Satellite offices in (5) locations: Mississippi Gulf Coast, Charlotte,
Raleigh,
Memphis and Orlando
- Fabrication facilities in (4) locations: Kenner, Louisiana; Memphis, Tennessee;
the Mississippi Gulf Coast (2), Charlotte, North Carolina, and Greensboro, North Carolina
- Industry leader in the South in the Design Build/Design Assist construction market with in-house engineering services
- LEED-accredited professionals
- B.I.M./ Modeling standardization
2011
Benner & Fields, Inc. joins the MCC Group as a division of MCC Mechanical of the Carolinas. In addition to being a full service mechanical contractor, this addition adds sheet metal and pipe fabrication services to other business units servicing the Carolinas.
MCC has and will continue to strive to offer our customers complete building solutions and attempt to exceed all customer expectations. MCC will strive to deliver on-time/under-budget construction and the MCC culture will continue to work diligently to maintain the trust, integrity and loyalty our customers have grown to expect from the MCC Group.
