Pre-Construction and Design/Build
Many projects require extensive pre-construction services. Design-build and/or design assist work can take on different personalities with each of MCC's projects.

The following scenarios exemplify our "whatever it takes" attitude toward team construction.

MCC with Architect's Engineer
MCC works closely with the architect's engineer and assists in the development of a final design for a project. We offer cost estimation throughout the design development phase and will suggest valued engineering to keep the project within budget.
MCC as Engineering Manager
MCC acts as the engineering manager on products producing design documents and coordinating all engineering services representing the owner and/or general contractor.
MCC as Responsible Engineer of Record
MCC is responsible or performs all engineering services and serves as the project's engineer of record.

MCC's engineering department is staffed with both mechanical and electrical engineers and design draftsmen. All are proficient in producing CAD documents for ease in project coordination. Several staff members are licensed professional engineers.

Mechanical
Complete Division 15000 capabilities (excluding fire protection) are available to our customers. MCC self-performs all HVAC and Plumbing piping, equipment installation and start-up. We may supplement our own in-house expertise with expert subcontractors who install Insulation, Temperature Controls & Energy Management systems, depending on the size and complexity of the project. MCC self-performs most of the sheetmetal/ductwork fabrication and installation needed on its projects.

Electrical
Complete Division 16000 capabilities are available to our clients. MCC self performs all electrical conduit, equipment installation, fire alarm systems, emergency generators and UPS. We may supplement our own in-house expertise with expert subcontractors and/or joint venture relationships with other electrical contractors throughout our area of operation.

Pre-Fabrication
MCC has two fabrication facilities: Piping fabrication in Kenner, Louisiana and sheetmetal/ductwork fabrication in Pass Christian, Mississippi. We fabricate in order to decrease the actual installation time on site, improve the overall job schedule and maximize the efficient use of materials while minimizing waste. By fabricating in a controlled environment, we can ensure the quality of our product without experiencing the hardship of adverse weather conditions.
